The fight against COVID-19 – The Ordre national du Québec postpones its annual insignia award ceremony

The Ordre national du Québec has resigned itself to postponing the annual insignia award ceremony that had been planned for this coming June. However, the process of receiving and analysing nominations has been able to continue. Given the exceptional circumstances currently affecting Québec and the rest of the world, it is not yet possible to set a new date for this prestigious ceremony. The date will be posted on the website of the ONQ once it has been set.

We extend our sincere apologies to all those who have submitted nominations. Once restrictions have been lifted and the health situation has become safe, we will be able to pay tribute to the people honoured this year, with even greater warmth and pride.

Clarification:

All candidates will be contacted in due time, once public health officials have authorized us to resume our activities. Also, a press release will be issued once the identity of the new members may be made public.
