Homage to the people of Québec eloquently voices the spirit of the Ordre.
The Ordre national du Québec allows our society to reveal itself through those we pay tribute to and whose honour, respect and loyalty inspire us.
This was the underlying rational for the April 1985 Order-in-Council adopting the motto of the Ordre.
The motto is engraved on the back of the full-size insignia.
